Wood Floors in the New Apartment, Couture from the Store's Apartment

March is turning its head and it's almost winter! My absolute favourite season. It's all wool, leather, cotton and heavy denim. Layering, boots, cardigans and coats. Beanies, scarves and gloves.
I just love winter because you can work your summer pieces throughout. You can pair your sundresses with tights and cardigans: effortlessly chic. You can glam up a simple jeans and a T-shirt look with a killer, bright coat and boots. What about layering shirts on tank tops and sweaters? Seriously, winter is just the best.

And one of my favourite winter trends is fur. Well, faux-fur actually (I, too, have been scarred by many a PETA video). I just love how glamourous and luxurious fur is. Paired with big sunglasses and killer platform heels makes me think of some beautiful, New York city trust-fund princess hanging out on Fifth Avenue. Fur is the Diana of winter statement pieces and everything else is the Supremes.

I think fur and leather together is really luxe. They're such a perfect pair!

Oh my, and long feather vests are absolutely lovely. I especially love the above look. This girl's pairing of short-shorts and very simple pieces if PERF.

So beautiful. Someone buy me a faux-fur vest please! I'm just so in love.

[Outfit Post] Today I'm Hugo's Boss

Leopard print bow alice band from Gossip Boutique, spiked collar blouse from Mr Price, Prada bag (adopted from my sister), Hugo Boss menswatch (stolen from my dad), army green skinny jeans from Truworths, Identity rings and Mr Price pink court heels
So who else is excited about military coming back? I've always loved military jackets and camo print and the tough sergeant look. I especially love how well it works with denim. These are some jeans my mom bought me a year ago and I've never really had much of an idea of what to wear with it since then until I got this cool blouse from Mr Price (it is a bit sheer, something I only realised after making my purchase and not to mention that it's cream, not white like I hoped but I still love it).
I wore this to a pig-out with my friend, Alizwa, last night at Sandton. We had Cinnabon, gossiped and cried about the prices of fabulous shoes at Top Shop and Zara.

Happy March
